I'm talking to George Dobra right now currently aged 62 years old. From Market gardeners in Spearwood ventured to farming land West Dale in 1957 and ventured again to Cunderdin. They farmed in 17 shires from the top end of Mullewia to the bottom of Esperance. The Dobra family are pioneers of Spearwood with Uncle Steve who's on their fathers side, arrived in the turn of 1900 from Phoenix Arizona America and then plotted a piece of land in Spearwood and called it Phoenix Rd. Uncle Steve was a walfie at the Fremantle docks and was killed in 1938. Inquires of his death was never revealed. He was hurried in the walfies cemetery of Fremantle. Was the inspiration of the Dobra clan to settle in Australia from Prvic Luka.

If you would like to make contact with Mr George Dobra please don't hesitate to contact me, Mr Mark Cottier on 0439497138. He is a man with a great wealth on not only the Dobra family history but also Western Australian history. He was also a pioneer of Western Australian Transport history. Please don't post this. Thank you.
