At age 29 he left his hometown of Ursini R.C. Italy to come to Aust. He worked as a farmer. After making some money he sponsored his wife Gemma, daughters Ermelinda, Maria and son Francesco who arrived in Aust in 1959. At age of 81, Ilario passed away on the 10-1-2002. R.I.P.
