Nominated by Andy-Meg. Tough Scottish migrants Post War. It was Ernie's dream to live in Australia from his 11th birthday. Our school read a calendar showing Australia. I was hooked. Came to Australia 1945 and 1946 as a Radio Officer of the British Merchant Navy on MV Shirrabank. Returned to UK.
