Emilia migrated to Perth in 1954 to join her husband Antonio who had migrated three years earlier. Their daughter Maria was born & in later years Emilia worked as a kitchenhand at Hale School. She also worked at Brisbane & Wunderlich making chinaware until 1978 when she remained home & helped care for her two grandchildren.
