Eldest male of ten children. Came to Australia to provide a better life for his family, who arrived seven years later. Fought during WWII as a 'Bersagliere'. Taken P.O.W in 1943 in Agrigento, Sicily. Married Elisabetta Martelli on his return to Italy. Had two children Renato Vincenzo and Anna Maria.
