Sponsored by Lazzareno Marrone. Was injured clearing farmland. Returned to Italy in 1952, then back to Australia in 1954. He was joined by his wife Giovina De Vitis and children Maria and Peter in 1959. Worked as a stonemason until 1980. Had five grandchildren: Nino, Angelica, Nadia, Gia and Emma. Great sense of humour.
