Guiseppe came out to the 'Promised Land' leaving his parents, 9 siblings & a pregnant young wife - Gilda Di Giacomo (nee Amoroso). She followed on the 'Roma' in 1959 disembarking in Melbourne with her daughter Angela Maria Di Giacomo (now Angela Maria Butto) They finally settled in Adelaide where he lived until he died on the 11th March 2002.
