Harold left his bank position in 1908 to join his brother William at Doodlakine. He married Violet Evelyn Parks on the 29/12/1913. He became a farm manager on various properties the last been at Cookernup for J. McCallum Smith. He also worked for Goldsborough Mort, Brunswick. Member of the Masonic Lodge, Harvey.
