Born in the Italian Alps on the Italy/Switzerland border. The eldest of five children. Was an Australian citizen upon marriage to Giovanni Delmarco in Aprica, Italy one month before arriving in Australia. Lived in the Goldfields till 1954 where her two daughters Lina and Anna were born.
