After leaving school at only 15 he went on to complete a plumbing apprenticeship. Following success in his trade he opened his own business which has grown to provide both housing and commercial services to most parts of Western Australia. He was president of the Master Plumber's Association of WA for two years and he has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. His family has grown to include a wife of 30 years, three children and two grandchildren. To Michael, family is everything.
