Rosa (nee Frisina) arrived in WA as a 9 year old where she attended Highgate Primary School, leaving at 14 to begin work and help the family finances. She met and married Mario Della - Primavera in 1972 and they had 2 children, Tania (1977) and Daniel (1979).
