Left his hometown of San Lorenzo, Vasto, to join his brothers. Lived in Belmont on arriving but moved to Kellerberrin where there was work. Worked two jobs as a labourer and painter. Joined in Kellerberrin by his wife Filomena one year later. He has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
