Read their story

Son of Raffaele De Rosa and Consiglia De Felice. Eldest of six brothers. Married Concetta Scacchia (3.9.1923). Children: Celia, Ann, Tony and Ted. A south west pioneer and land owner. Sponsored many Vastese citizens in their migration. Taught himself to read and write - both Italian and English. Embraced Australia's egalitarian society and entwined Italian traditions with the Australian way of life.
