Read their story

Peter was born in Bochum, Germany in 1939 just after WWII started. He trained as a pastry cook in Germany, but after coming to Australia worked on a market garden in Mandogalup. At age 20 he worked for two months in Wittenoom with the asbestos. Unfortunately, forty-two yars laer, he died of mesothelioma. This memorial on the Welcome Wall is just for him.
