Giuseppe, then 24 and having already completed his service, emigrated to WA in 1912. Giuseppe worked at both mining and timber-cutting in the Murchison region of the northern goldfields. He married Letizia Rho in 1922 and there were three children, Camillo, Adele and Ermanno.
