Read their story

Ermanno worked around Nannup district for a time, on the land, and later as a timber worker in sawmills. He had trained as a baker, and when work in the country ran out he found a job in Perth with a baker, a Greek migrant. Within two years he had bought the business. It was very successful and at its peak employed fifty-four people. Ermanno married Gisella Grisani in 1959 and there were three children, Adele, Gerolamo and Rosanna.
