Fled Ukraine in 1940 due to Russian occupation. During WWII spent 10 years in Germany. Applied for immigration with maternal family. Sent to Northam, after completion of 2 year immigration contract they moved to Perth. Built house, Homer St, Dianella, raised three children, Eugene, Sandra, Anne.
