Deported to Russia in 1942 with family. Displaced person camps in Tanganyika 1942-1949. In Australia spent 43 years in education - Teacher/Principal. Awarded OAM 1989 for services to education and Polish community. Married Ryszard Szlinejko - two daughters, Teresa and Monika.
