Giuseppi Cusmano arrived in Fremantle at the age of 18 on his own. He first worked as a sleeper cutter and Potato digging. He eventually bought some land and started farming. He became very successful. He bought out all his family from Sicily. He married an Australian girl and they had 7 children. He worked hard all his life.
