At 18 I came to Cottesloe to stay with my dad Tony Day. Having lived in West Africa as a child I longed for warm weather. I married Allen Curtis, who also migrated here. We adopted 2 lovely children, Nik & Jennifer. Later my mum Betty Chapman also migrated here.
