Went on to own his own business in Perth (mixed businesses). Married in 1953 & has 5 children born between 1954-1970. In 1966 he & his family settled in Ferntree Gully, Victoria where he established his very successful family business (licensed grocer). Retired in 1985 and still lives in Ferntree Gully.
