Matica Cukrov had not seen her husband for over 12 yrs. Daughter Milka was only 1 1/2 when her father left. Matica joined her husband on the woodline for a short period, while Milka lived in Osborne Park and attended school. Christmas 1937 saw them all settle in South Coogee.
