Arthur Cuff was in the Royal Naval Air Service which was later called the Fleet Air Arm. He arrived in Albany on the 9/3/22 & was taken by train to Broomehill, by train & then wagon to Lake Grace where he worked for Hugh Carruthers. He then took up virgin land 8 miles N.E. of Newdegate. When this turned salty, he moved to a farm south of Newdegate in 1936. He retired to Armadale & died 1st June 1962 after a long illness.
