Arrived in Australia where he worked extensively as a labourer in the farming (wheat/sheep) areas of WA. This not only taught him the Australian farming practises, but allowed him to save enough money to purchase his lifetime home property 'Cashel Park', very successful. He married Venturina and they had nine children.
