Left Scotland via Tilbury Docks in December 1948. Worked as a maintenance fitter at Saunders & Stuart, Midland Workshops & Westralian Transformers. Retired in 1984 to a happy life. Married to Carol, father of David & Ainslie. Grandfather of Kellsey, Dennam, Adam and David.
