I was born in Bath 1928. Mother died 1935. Taken to Nazareth House Orphanage Bristol 1936. Selected to come to Australia 1939. Clontarf Orphanage 1939/1940. Transferred to Christian Brothers Agric School Tardun 1940. Worked on farms after leaving school 1944/1950. Took up conditional purchase block 1950, developed the block, married and raised family.
