Travelled to Australia on his own May 1949. His wife Maria Vincenza Corica, daughters Teresa & Concettina, joined him in Australia April 1952. He had a son Carmelo and daughter Emilia born in Australia. He was a passionate musician and popular at parties providing the entertainment for his countrymen.
