Mr & Mrs Coote came out to WA under the infamous Group Settlement Scheme. The Great Depression & bush fire forced them off the farm in 1936. Dad was in the British Army 1914 - 1918 & in the RAAF (Officer) 1939 - 1945. He & his wife retired from a business in Bassendean in 1963 & moved to Madora Bay.
