Granted 640 acres in the Murray district. Built a mill at Yunderup, still standing. Joseph died by accident when his bullock cart wheel passed over him at Clarence near Woodman's Point. Family continues to live in Mandurah proud to be descended from one of WA's original pioneer families.

The Dates under the names are Joseph born 1796 and died 15/11/1847 and Elizabeth born 1795 and died 29/7/1876 they were my 4th Great Grandparents.

I am descended from second son James Cooper who married Ellen Tuckey … Their daughter Mini May Cooper married Frank Gill Easton of Fremantle they had Walter, Winifred, May, Frank, Violet, Harry and my father Kennerley Gill Easton 1915- 2017 died aged 103who married Thora Constance Meagher 1912-1974 children two daughters Susan Ensie and Gillian-Kaye
