Lucia left Italy with her mother Domenica in 1966 to join her father Vincenzo in Perth. Her brother Giovanni was born in 1969. Lucia has been employed with Royal Perth Hospital since 1973. Lucia has been involved in various activities within the Italian community, receiving an Award from the Italo-Australian Welfare Centre.
