Domenica Conte (nee Sperduti) left Italy in 1966 with her daughter Lucia to join her husband Vincenzo. Their first years were spent in Belmont, before moving to South Perth, then Como. Their son Giovanni was born in 1969. Domenica worked with her husband Vincenzo in building a business together.
