Read their story

Fergus Connaughton arrived from Ireland & settled in Three Springs in 1930. He was a grain grower, had Merino sheep & Shorthorn cattle studs as well as owner of several properties in the Three Springs & Mingenew shires. He was a breeder & owner of successful thoroughbred racehorses, He continued farming until his death at age 89. He was twice married and had six children.
