Sponsored by Michele Conti, Giuseppe was the first of his family to immigrate. His wife, Benedetta, and son, Salvatore, immigrated 5 years later. In 1959 their daughter, Maria Teresa, was born. Giuseppe and Benedetta also sponsored several family members and helped others in obtaining sponsorships and in their settlement.
