Resident in Katanning for 33 years (1913-1946) was Works Supervisor for Katanning Road Board and engineered the Katanning Swimming Pool, the Katanning sewerage system and the first bitumen road in WA outside the metropolitan area. Streets named after him in Katanning and Denmark.
