Lived with relative for six months. Unable to get building materials for part built house on 26 acres that we bought. Went to Perth for accommodation & employment. Returned to Australind in 1954. Poultry farming until 1982, then retired. My brother stayed in Perth working at Ilford Limited. 1970's land was subdivided for housing - ours first estate here.
