Arrived WA as indentured servant to George Leake. Married Mary Ann Roper 18/03/1830. 1837 moved to Perth 1852 moved to Wanneroo. Worked for George Shenton (farm). 1858 purchased 45 acres land and built his home in 1860. He farmed and grew vegetables. See also Mary Ann ROPER.
