Read their story

Harry Clarke better known as Nobby. He worked in the southwest with the Sneddan family until the 30's, then heading for the Gascoyne area with fencing contracts and stayed on 'roo shooting in the Gascoyne-Ashburn region. In 1936, arrived in Onslow and was employed by Neil Clark as a truck driver until he enlisted in the 17th RSU RAAF in 1942. Returned to Onslow after WWII and worked for Ashburton Road Board which operated the towns water supply. He then Transferred to the Public Works Department before retiring. On the 22nd August 1939 married Doris Payne and was a devoted father to daughters Dorothy Ann and Elizabeth Ida.
