Read their story

We arrived on the Dorsetshire (an old troop ship) after an eventful journey as the ship broke down en route and it was sent to the breakers shortly after. Being both Ex-Service the trip was free. We were greeted on arrival by a reporter from The Sunday Times as Irene was “Queen of the Ship” and our photos on board appeared in the next edition of the Sunday Times.
