Dad followed his father and sister to Perth, but his father returned after employment was poor. Dad lived with his sister's family, Nina and Salvatore Letiza until he married Anntonetta Cantatore in 1969. He has two siblings Salvatore and Marta, and as of 2004 he has 3 grandchildren.
