Pietro was 20 yrs old when he arrived & went to shear sheep on a farm in Ongerup. He then went back to Italy in 1962 and met his wife whom he then brought back to Perth which is where they still live today.

Dear Pietro,
There is a good chance you and I are related. My father Guido left Ascoli in 1920 and settled in Philadelphia near his brother Anthony. I have never met any of our family in Italy although I am proud to be a Marchegiano. A cousin Mario left Ascoli in the 1960's and settled in Cleveland Ohio. My best to you, we hope you are doing well is Australia. Do you still prepare Olive Ascolane?
