After arrival, Percy Chick, was employed on a farm at Dumbleyung. In 1928 he was allocated a block at East Narembeen. He cleared & developed this holding successfully with many hardships. He married Elizabeth Porter in 1937. They had 3 children - Elizabeth, Glenice, Gilbert (now working on farm)
