Josephine/Joy nee Yates married Victor Cheynski, ex Polish army sergeant in Beaumaris, North Wales in 1947. They changed their name by deed poll to Cheyney, migrated to Australia as £10 Poms in 1951. Although childless they were responsible directly or indirectly for more than twenty people mainly relatives settling in Australia.
