Second son of Henry Farrant & Caroline Chave. Walked off the land in 1916 & came to Perth. Started his business "Chave & Son General Carriers" on the corner of Carr & Newcastle Streets, Leederville. Henry & Mable (nee Bater) raised their children in Leederville - Cyril, Vera, George, Albert & Margaret.
