Arthur and Kay met and married whilst serving in the RAF during the war. Decided Australia would be a good country to raise children. Lived 2 years Melbourne then returned to Perth. 20 years later 7 children (3 boys: Simon, Anthony, Michael & 4 girls: Barbara, Ruth, Lorna, Catherine).
