I am sure George was a relation to us, was his wife's name Rose? I visited them in Augusta in 1989, I live in England and am sure this is the same family.

I don't know if this will still find you after such a long time but yes - this is that George Challis, wife Rosina Mary - children - Lesley, Julie and Carol. I had his name added to the wall when it was first built (my name is Tarnya - eldest grandchild).

I am interested to see whether this family might be related to mine. My ancestor emigrated from Sapiston, Suffolk and was a descendant of John Challis & Susan Lidimore.
