Read their story
Paola left her home town of Sicily at the age of 23. She was married by proxy in Italy. She then arrived in Perth and then onto Victoria where her husband Giuseppe and herself commenced a new life. Giuseppe was a farmer in Murchison. His farming passion were tomatoes. Giuseppe and Paola had three children, all born in Victoria. They moved to Perth 11 years later.
