Santo left Messina, Sicily with mother Carmela on 01/02/1935 to join father Nicolo. The family settled in Brunswick Junction, later Redcliffe & Rivervale, WA. Sam married Ita Robins in 1949, raised 4 loving children & owned an engineering business for 40 plus years. Sam died in 2004 aged 81.
