Frank's uncle paid his fare. He got a job as a dishwasher and soon promoted to Cook. He was learning the lingo, enjoyed the job, money, and Perth, bought a car, and decided to stay. In 1962 he married Betsy Ann, a Dutch girl from Indonesia; they have four daughters.
