Father Cyril Carton was the WA hockey coach between 1955 & 1963 inclusive when WA was the top hockey state in the country. Eldest son Kevin was a state & Australian hockey representative, 2 Olympics Melbourne 1956 & Rome 1960. Captain of WA & Australia from 1961 to 1963 inclusive. Awarded OAM in 2000.

Hoping I can get info re Denis Fitzsimmons Dunbar & his involvement in Hockey both in India & Australia - can anyone advise. His last arrival back in Australia was in Feb. 1947

The Carton family lived across the street from my family from about 1948 to 1952,in East Victoria Park, WA. I always thought they were from Burma. I remember Kevin, his (I think) older brother Peter and sister Wendy.
