Attended Marybrook Primary School for 2 yrs, lived with sister Maria Maiolo. Left Brunswick school at 14 yrs to start business with father & brother Michael. Milk Cartage Co. to Brownes Peters. 1960 formed Carbone Bros. Cartage Contracting with brothers Pasquale & Armando. Michael died 27/06/1961. Married Shirley Frances Rodgers 17/09/1960. Children - John, Anthea, Craig, Lenore, Patrick Stuart & Kathryn. All married. 17 grandchildren. Settled on 120 acres Sandalwood Rd, Benger. Three sons now part of company.
